10 enough but am behind in my french. We learn it for the present by lectures delivered by the professor history the same way. Give my love to all inquiring friends and tell James Gould that I had some pictures taken but they were so poor that I am asshamed to send him one Tell Alice I ate the pear at the appointed time it was very nice the pears Mary brot me were so good it will be a good while be for I forget them. There is a good many apples & peaches through this season. I got a letter from Henry F. I was very glad to here from him indeed.
