I do not know wheather I had better Join a society or not there is two fine literary societies at the college. Mary must whisper tell you who is the corresponding sec. at the Amphictyon Society the present term & also when the present term is out so you can tell me because I want to know. And I would like to have the pass word for the next quarter and if Mary will have a pass-word certifacate sent me I would be pleased I wish it could be sent so I could have as much benifit as posible ie. as much time as posible to use it. The settlement last week with the steward showed an expense of two dollars and eight sents a week for the two weeks then transpired. I wrote a letter to Henry Fifield but forgot to put the whole address on the envellope simply directed it to Cleveland I have not heard from it and am get
