John told me to write to you the same time I wrote to him for money, so that you could send me a small amount quicker than he could send any. I would not have been under the necessity of having any reach me before the last of this or the first of next month if I was not compelled to buy some more clothes. I have the pants & vest allready under way and have enough money to pay for them. 
I have hurryed this along so as to get it off on this mail.
