(3) The weather has been very bad here since the early part of the month very bad & getting worse it can't last long I hope so I can commence to mend again. I am dressed every day as a rule am about the same as when I left home - I write John & Dr McClure each a long letter to-day They have had four month of pleasant weather before this spell fell over all this Country & expect soon to have at least we hope for a break in the weather & the slubrious clear sunlight air will will stimulate me [?] again- I have the
