clothes but I don't think they will last very long and our guns we dont like at all they are called the Austrian muskets they are too much like the old flint locks to suit me they go with afuse instead of acap that is when they do go but they don't go more than one time in ahalf adozen. but I think we will get better guns before we will go into abattle. but we will have to get them pretty soon if we do for we are expecting to be called into battle every day we have not got acent of pay yet but they still talk about paying us before very long. well I must bring my letter to aclose. I want you answer it as soon as you can and write oftner than you do nothing more at present Oliver Boardman
