times as large as Cedar wood and water is about as plenty as there is any need of well I said I would tell you what we were doing. we are not doing much of anything but just about as we please we are not drilling much I expect it is on the account of holidays I have not been on any kind of duty for about aweek except to stand guard and it only comes my turn about two days out of aweek to stand guard. I would like to know how you spent your Christmas. I expect I know though. I expect you spent it as we used to when I was at home just a about the same as any other day. I could see alittle differene here they fired afew rounds of canon just enough to get the boys started and aright
