that we didnt have any whiskey for that is something that is not used in our tent under any circumsances. well I am getting most tired of writing I might mention that the cars s runs right along by our Camp so we have the latest news all the time we take the daily democrat and get it the same day that it is printed thirteen hundred secesh prisoners passed here the other night on their way to St Louis I didnt get to see them on the account of it being in the night when they passed there is about eight or ten regiments of infantry Camped around here besides considerable Cavelry and artillery they are throwing up
