too much for agood many of the boys but I have kept my health yet so far I dont know how much more I could go through without making me sick. one year ago I dont believe I could have went through one fourth as much as I have here within the last two weeks. but I expect to go through as much in the next two if providence admits. the two days of the battle was about the hardest I ever put in and the nights were not much better we had no blankets and it rained both nights in fact it has hardly stopt since. it took some time to clear the field of the dead and wounded and we have cut down considerable timber prepareing for another attack but I dont think they will attack us here again but I think we will attack them before long perhaps as soon as the roads gets so that our canon can be moved then look out for another Pittsburg battle I will give you a little description of my
