time he ever mentioned it was once he said he was agood Union man yet. though uncle Norval wasnt I am getting to warm to write with any pleasure, so whats the use of writing any more. the thermometer now adays stands at from 90 to 100 degrees above Cairo (zero) in the shade. Well Henry write to me this summer, fall, winter, or this year sometime I dont care when so you write. I have not had a letter from you for the last two or three months excuse poor writing I have not been much over five minutes writing this although I tried to be an hour. Oliver Boardman
