that I went before there was any particular call for it. but since we all have to soldier I am very glad I went when I did. I have got climated and used to the hardships though that never was very hard to do for soldiering just seemed to suit me. I heard that [Sant]? Fuller had gone but I need not mention him for I suppose they have all enlisted it is the same way in all the states I guess. I got a letter a few days ago from May Swift she said the folks were well. The men folks gone to war. among the names enroled under this last call at least the ones she spoke of were Salmon Hawley Thomas and James Fuller Frank & George Dennison. Howard Robinson Alonzo & William Hoel Daniel & Peter Langwell & Harrison Snodgrass they are in
