and if they were taken we would soon know it for certain it wouldnt be guess work. we had one man killed and two taken prisoner from our Regt last tuesday. by the Guerrillas just across the river from here. our boys have been going across into Arkansas just for amusement ever since weve been here sometimes they would shenanegan something but they generaly went over just for the fun of it there was none of our Company over there tuesday but there was several out of the other Companies over scattered around all through the brush and were picked up by the Guerrilles but all escaped but three the one that was shot belonged to Company J (the Centerville Co)
