has been agood soldier always willing to do asoldiers part, whether agreable or other wise. But to make along letter Short, I must write alittle of everything and not much of anything. I wish I Could write you as good aletter as your last one was that letter was along one and agood one and worth abetter answer than I Can give you this time. but I will make it up some other time I didnt feel like I could write much of a letter if I undertook it so I concluded to send afew Memorandas home and let that suffice for the present. As for Ed Weed's writing home you can tell his folks that he is always well but I believe he would rather go into battle than to write aletter.
