Small Plum Puddings Three spoonfuls of Flour, three Eggs, half a pound of suet half a pound of Raisins, three spoonfuls of Sugar, one Nutmeg, mix altogether without milk. An Hour boils them Permanent Ink Take Luna Caustic one Drachm, of Gum Arabic and Sapgreen each four Grains, with a quarter of an Ounce of Water, mix in a glass Mortar, and keep it well cork'd To prepare the Linen Salt of Tartar one Ounce to a pint and half of Water Blacking Three quarters of a pint of Vinegar, two ounces of Ivory Black, one table spoonful of Treacle, one table spoonful of Neats Foot Oil, one Table spoonful of Vitrol mix altogether / then put in the Vitrol /
