To clean Floor Cloth 2 oz of [illegible] soap, 3 oz of Bees wax, shaved very thin put it into a jar & pour a pt of boiling soft water upon it stirring it till all is dissolved When used put a small quantity upon a piece of flannel rub the floor cloth with it & [clear?] it well off with a soft cloth Barley Water A Table spoonfull of pearl barley 5 oz of white sugar the rind of a lemon part rubbed in the sugar the remainder cut into thin slices & put into the jar pour 2 qts of boiling water upon it to be made 12 hours before wanted To Clean Davenport ware A hard brush Sand, & a coarse cloth Soap will suffice to a froth & cover it all over with it Put into an oven to brown
