1846 Miss Rosina [Ennis?] died Sept 8th 1846 Mrs Jorden Branch died Sept 9th 1846 [W'm?] Gill died Sept 10th 1846 [Drtr?] [Ths? ] Robinson died Sept 14th 1846 Mr Wakefield killed by fall Sepr - 1846 Stephen Miller child born Sepr 13th 1846 Rob [Dunn?] of Sussex died Sept 1846 Mr William Clark died Sept 19th 1846 Augt & Sept very sickly mostly chills Robert Butterworth & company went west 1846 great gale 7th & 8th of Sepr reaching from the coast of Maine to Galveston Texas causing great destruction to life and the shipping on the coast at that time 1846 25th Sepr no rain for 4 or 5 weeks past and still no prospect for rain Oct 1st still no rain vegitation perishing 1846 bacon sold at auction at 1/2 cent and the stench was strong enough to knock hats of heads as they past the [stench?]
