1 lb Flour 1/2 lb butter 1/2 lb sugar 1/2 lb currants 3 eggs Candied Peel Grated Lemon rind Allspice (small teaspoon) 1/2 pt milk just warmed teaspoon carbonate soda Beat the butter to a cream, add sugar. then flour & eggs. Currants etc last. Greased paper to line tin
