Princess Cake 1 1/2 cup shortening 1 1/2 cups sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 cup water 3 cups flour 5 eggs 4 tsp baking powder Cream shortening, add sugar, the vanilla Add water and sifted flour and baking powder, A little at a time. Fold in egg whites. Bake at 385° for 40 minutes. Mrs. Mary Ayres
