Fruit Cake. 2 cups sugar 1 cup butter 1/2 cup coffee 1 cup molasses 6 eggs 4 1/2 cups of flour 1 level teaspoon B. powder. 1 cup nuts 1/2 # dates 1 1/2 # raisins 1/2 # citron 1 glass jelly 1 " cherry or strawberry preserves. salt and spices to taste Bake 2 hours in a moderate oven.
