Chilla Sauce 18 ripe tomatoes 6 onions 3 green peppers or red 1 cup sugar 2 1/2 cups vinegar 2 teaspoons of salt 1 teaspoon of cinnamon " " " allspice " " " nutmeg " " " cloves Scauld and peal tomatoes and cook with the onions and peppers until tender then add sugar, vinegar and spices, cook ten minutes longer.
