Sweet Cream Doughnuts 2 1/2 cups sifted cake flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp nutmeg 2 eggs well beaten 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup heavy cream Sift flour once and resift with baking powder, salt and nutmeg Beat eggs until light and thick Add sugar and continue to beat until fluffy Add cream then flour and stir until smooth Turn out on a lightly floured board and roll 1/4 in. thick
