pan & when scarcely milk warm, [butter a?] small piece of toast with a spoonful of yest spread on it, let it remain all night, & then if sufficiently fermented, strain & bottle it. It is ready to quench your thirst the next day. To make treacle Posset Boil your milk. Mix 1/2 a tea cup full of cold milk with as much treacle as you think sufficient & then mix the hot & cold together off the fire
