Mineral Matter Under the general term salts, or mineral matter, are included various combinations of lime, soda, potash, sulphur, phosphorus, magnesia, and (lime) iron. I - Where Found. Principally in cereals, milk, meat, fish, and fruits. II - Use in the body. Replenish certain tissues and are necessary to the perfect building up of the body. Aid digestion. III - Common Salt. Obtained from evaporation of spring and sea water, also from mines. The tissues & fluids of the body contain 97% C, Cl, H, N. The remaining 3% consists of various mineral such as iron, sulphur, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, chlorine & florine
