2- Jane's Cup Cake_ 1 Cup of Butter 1 teaspoonful of Soda 1 " " Sour Milk 2 " " Sugar 4 " " Flour & whites of six (6) eggs Flavor to taste or else 1 Cup of Butter 1 teaspoonful of soda 1 " " Sour Milk 2 " " Sugar Yolks of six (6) eggs 4 " " flour nutmeg and raisins In making this Cup Cake keep the whites of one or two of the eggs to put in with the yolks of the other, as it is apt to be too dry if made with yolks entirely
