Sponge Cake - Mrs D Wells 3/4 lb sugar & 6 table spoons cold water, boil it and pour boiling hot in the 7 eggs which have been beaten well seperately and then mixed & beaten together stir hard until cold then add 1/2 lb of flour & the juice & rind of one Lemon.
