The next time slip the first stich, make a stich, knit three bind the first over & so on. When you come to the end of the needle, if you have two stiches left, you make a stich before knitting - If you have only one stich left at the end of the needle - knit it without making one For slippers - (crocheting) 13 stiches widen in the middle every time acrost. - From G.
