Fitters. Maple Sugar Maple Syrup 1 lb sugar - 1 pt water boil ten minutes. Maple Filling & Frosting 2 cups maple sugar. 1 cup water, whites of 3 eggs. boil sugar and water until it threads. beat whites of eggs to stiff froth. Pour hot syrus on eggs slowly - beat until thick spread on layers & top.
