Hydrophobia First dose - 1 1/2 oz elecampane root, bruised, put in a pint of new milk reduced to 1/2 pint by boiling; then take all at once in the morning, fasting until after dinner - Second does - same as first except take 2 oz. of the root - Third dose - same as second to be taken every other day - Three doses are all that are needed. Take as soon as bitten.
