Date cake 1 cup sugar 2 T butter 1 cup dates 1/2 c nuts 1 tes soda pinch salt 1 1/4 c flour 1 c. hot water 1 tes soda 1 egg Mrs. Oneil frosting 1/2 c. B. sugar 3 T. butter 2 T. cream cocoanut & nuts Put on cake while hot. then brown under broiler Goldie Shampoo 3 qts water 1-3 oz castile soap shaved boil untill dissolved, then strain through 2 thicknesses of cheese cloth then add 1 qt acholol
