84 Mother's Chili Sauce. 18 ripe tomatoes 8 onions 1 c. sugar 1 teas cinnamon 1/4 teas cayenne. 1 teas. salt Cover with vinegar + cook till tender. Seal. Mrs. Chaffin's Pepper Relish. 5 small red peppers 5 green peppers} Seed + chop. 5 onions chopped} Cover with boiling water ten minutes + drain. Add: 1 c. sugar 1 c. vinegar 1 tbs. salt} Boil 20 minutes + seal. 1 1/2 pts. Pickled Peaches-Plums- 1/2 lb. sugar to 1 lb. fruit 1/2 pt. vinegar to 1 lb. sugar. 2 oz.{clove cinnamon to 2 lb. fruit } Heat to boiling + seal Prepared Mustard 1 tbs. mustard 1 [tbs.] flour pinch salt. Vinegar to moisten 1 teas. honey.
