Old Fash. Soft Mol. Cookies 8 cups flour 4 teas soda 1/4 teas salt 1 tab. Ginger 3 cups molasses 1 cup lard 1/2 cup butter 10 tbs. boiling water Mix dry ingredients & sift. Mix shortening & hot water & blend with 4 cups flour. Add other 4 cups & let stand 1 hr. Roll & bake 15 min. in hot oven.
