all well together, and make then in cakes and bake them. Bunn's 2 lbs of Flour, 1/2 pint of yeast, 3 eggs beaten a little warm milk, salt and nutmeg. Knead it well, and then let rise very light, then knead 1 lb of fresh Butter, 1 lb of rough carraway [confus], then in any shape you wish, and bake them in a quick oven. Nun's Cakes. 1 pint of water, 1/2 lb of Butter, boiled together as much flour as you think will make a stiff batter. Scald the flour with the butter and water, 6 eggs, 1/4 of sugar a tablespoon full of Brandy. To be baked in lard. Corn Muffins. Boil 1 qt of milk, and pour it on as much corn meal, as well make it thick enough to bake on rings. Put in 1/2 of Butter, 5 eggs a little salt, Mix well, and bake on rings.
