Saving...
Monday May 6th 1878 I did not feel very well today and we did not wash. I did some sewing in the forenoon and spent the afternoon at Mrs Dennisons. I called at Mrs Custors on the way home. Sewed all the evening. Hatt went to town. Weather warm. Tuesday May 7th 1878 I washed and ironed both today. All of us went to Joseph Cooks lecture tonight. I enjoyed hearing it. There was a terrible rain storm tonight it began before we got to the Opera house. Wednesday May 8th 1878 It rained so I could not go to the valley today. I was sewing some. Hatt went over to see Win. Mollie Templar spent the afternoon here. I drew of a skirt to chain stitch. It was late before we got the work done up so I did not get much sewing done in the evening. It turned out quite pleasant in the afternoon.
