Saving...
Sunday August 25th 1878 What a glorious morning. The air is splendid. After a late breakfast we young folks took a drive down the river to the quarries. Had just a delightful time. When we got back Mrs Boye had an excellent dinner ready for us to to which we did justice. At two oclock we started home and had a very pleasant ride we came a different road from what we went up. Got home just at sundown found Win over and she and Mother had supper early ready. Helped with the work, went to bed early. Had a letter from Florence Work. Monday August 26th 1878 I did not wash this morning but went right to work to finish Mothers polinaise. I got her things all ready by the middle of the afternoon. Ella came up before supper. I went to town and sent a telegram to Charlie. Went up to Wins and she came home with me and stayed all the evening. Lee took her home. I worked on my tidy in the evening. Quite a pleasant day. Mr & Mrs Stinson were here.
