Saving...
Friday August [September?] 20th 1878 I did some washing this morning and helped with the other work. In the afternoon Mother and Hatt were both away and Jennie helped me all the afternoon fix up jelly. I worked at my tidy to fringe it in the evening. Saturday August [September?] 21st 1878 Rob and I went to town in the buggy this morning to get some things. We were behind hand all day with our work. I did a little mending in the afternoon. And in the evening worked on my tidy. rather a pleasant day. Sunday September 22nd 1878 A real pleasant morning I went to church. I was taken into full membership today my time of probation having expired. I pray that I may make a worthy member. Mother and Rob went to the valley this afternoon and took Jennie down. Win and Lillie were over in the afternoon. It took nearly all the afternoon to do the work. I wanted to go down the river but was too tired.
