Tuesday February 18th 1879. I did the washing this forenoon and worked at the carpet rags all the afternoon and knit in the evening. Mother went to town in the afternoon. Weather pleasanter. Wednesday February 19th 1879 It was a snowy disagreeable day. I was sick all day. I worked a little at the rags and knit a little. Went to bed early. Thursday February 20th 1879 I did the ironing this forenoon and baked the bread and worked with the carpet rags while Mother went to town. Hatt went over and did not come home till evening Rob and I spent the evening very pleasantly at Folsoms. A chilly cold day & evening. Friday February 21st 1879. I helped with the morning work and then did a little washing. In the afternoon I went to town to visit at Cochrans, and Rob came over to tea. We had a very pleasant time.
