Saving...
23 Sunday February 14th 1875. Ett and Tom did not go to church with us this morning. But a whole sleigh load of us went though. And when we went in there sat John Anderson as natural as life. He came home with us after church. He had come to Delavan the day before. Will took Tom and Ett down home in the afternoon in the little sleigh, and as soon as he came back John and Ira went down town in the sleigh. Will took us girls down to church in the big sleigh We had lunch after we came home and then went off to bed. I wrote to Mother in the afternoon. Monday February 15th 1875. John started on to Ohio this morning. Will took me out to school this morning. In the evening Laura and Cousin Jim came after me with the most outlandish rig that the ingenuity of man ever conceived. It was what they call a jumping jack, a sort of a little sled with runners and shafts all made together. They had eaten an early supper. So I eat when I came home. Then we all went down town in the sleigh I called at Mrs Beechers. We all made a visit at Etts. Aunty had supper ready for us when we got home. After eating we all talked awhile before going to bed. I had three more valentines wrote to Charlie today and a letter from Charlie.
