32 Tuesday March 9th 1875. I rode to school this morning but walked home at night. I got my things all ready to change my dress right away after supper. In the evening five from here with five from Duncans went in the waggon to a party in the country. Had a very pleasant time. I had a note from an old fool in this part of the country. A most excellent letter from Aunt Emma. And a great monstrous letter from home containing Robs oration with long letters from both Mother and Rob. And a picture that I wanted from home. Wednesday March 10th 1875. I walked to school this morning and Will came after me. I wrote a letter to Charlie today. Uncle started to McLean Co today. Thursday March 11th 1875. Will took me to school and came after me tonight. The roads are getting pretty muddy Cousin Bob went home today. Ira went down town tonight. I wrote a postal card to Mother. I had a sore throat tonight. I doctored it a little before going to bed. I finished embroidering an apron
