Saving...
44 Charlie Alexander was here a few moments in the afternoon and Will Reed was here a couple of hours. We young folks went to church in the evening, and after we came home had lunch before going to bed. Weather rather pleasant today. Monday April 5th 1875. I walked to school this morning and wrote to Charlie today. Mr Page paid me sixty two dollars today. And I gave Jennie thirty of it for board. Laura and Minnie went down town today and they did not come back tonight, but stayed at Etts. After I got home from school I sewed on my calico dress. I felt awful tired tonight. Uncle went back to McLean Co today. Weather warm and pleasant. Tuesday April 6th 1875. I did not have to teach today. And the first thing after breakfast I began to work on my dress. Just before supper I finished it. I had a terrible head ache from sewing so steady. After supper Ira Jennie and I went down town after the girls. I got me a new calico dress and some music that I had ordered. We had a pleasant ride. A letter tonight from Mother, Winnie and Lee.
