52 Sunday April 25th 1875. I did not go to church at all today in the morning I wrote a long letter to My mysterious correspondent and after dinner to Charlie and to Sister. Tom and Ett stayed till nearly night Will Reed spent the evening here. The weather was rather pleasant today. Bro Charlies birthday. Monday April 26th 1875. I walked to school this morning. But did not come home at night. I stayed all night with Alice Studyvin. Her and I run arond the neighborhood a little before night and in the morning after we got back played a few games of cassino. A cool cloudy day. Tuesday April 27th 1875. I worked on my tidy till school time. At noon today I wrote a letter to Anna Gilbert. Walked home from school at night. When I got here found Ettie and Mr Houghs family here. I finished my tidy before supper and did my ironing afterwards. In the evening I practiced and after I went up stairs did some mending. The boys went down town tonight and John brought me a letter from Mother. pleasant day.
