Saving...
54 Sunday May 2nd 1875. I did not go to church at all today I wrote to Mother in the morning and an order for a couple of books of music. Ett and Tom came out home to dinner and did not go home till evening. I dressed in my new house dress in the afternoon thinking we might go to church in the evening but we did not go. I read aloud to Aunty most of the evening. Monday May 3rd 1875. I walked to school and back today. It rained some. I was all muddy and very tired when I got home at night. I cut the waist to my linin suit. In the evening I worked on a mat to set the coffee pot on. The boys went down town tonight but there was no mail for me. Tuesday May 4th 1875. To school today I worked on my tidy and finished it up in the evening after I came home. Tom and Ett staid all night here. The boys went down town tonight I had a long and interesting letter from Hattie. I am working on a small mat made of chrotched wheels. We did not go to bed very early tonight. Weather pleasant.
