Saving...
68 Thursday June 10th 1875. I washed a lot of things for myself today. I did not get it done till after noon I did considerable scrubbing and cleaning up. I was very tired when I got through I did not feel like sewing what spare time I had I worked on my stand cover. Cousin Anna went down town to be gone the rest of the week. Friday June 11th 1875. I ironed in the forenoon and after dinner I cleaned out my closet up stairs and did some mending for myself. Mother was to town. We young folks went to society at night. The exercises were very good indeed. Weather cool. Saturday June 12th 1875. I sewed some in the forenoon. Hattie went away fishing with Mollie and Jim as soon as she had eaten her dinner Mother and I did up the work and then got ready to go to town. We got some groceries, and I got a pair of common slippers. We drove out to Mrs McClearys her daugher Jessie is dead. We stayed there some little time. We intended to have done some shopping but it was too late when we got back down town Hatt got home just at sundown. Dan Luse spent the evening here. A pleasant day
