70.) Wednesday June 16th 1875. As soon as the work was done this morning I began to iron. I got it nearly done by noon. Mother went to town in the morning. I sewed in the afternoon and mended the clothes and put them away. Just after supper I went boat riding with Mr Allen. Mollie and Jim spent the evening here and we had a real pleasant time. The weather was rather warm today. Thursday June 17th 1875. I did not feel well today. But helped with the work and sewed a little I felt much better in the afternoon than I did in the morning. After supper Lee and I went to town in the buggy. I did some shopping and then we drove around town some. I called to see Mrs Swofford a few moments. I saw Cousin Anna on the street. It was nearly night when we got home. I worked on my tidy all the evening. Weather pleasant. Friday June 18th 1875. Mother washed a little this morning and I did the work. I sewed in the afternoon. At night I went to society with Ott. They had a good programme and I enjoyed it very much
