Saving...
71 We got home about half past ten and I went to bed soon after. Weather cool for the time of year. Saturday June 19th 1875. We dident get up very early this morning and were rather behind time with the work all day. I ironed a little in the morning. By doing house-work a spell and sewing a spell I managed in the course of the day to get my white dress skirt finished that I have been working at nearly all week besides making some change in the waist and over-skirt to my grey poplin. We young folks had intended going over to Folsoms to spend the evening But it was a damp evening and did not go. Hatt and I adjourned up stairs and worked and talked till nearly twelve oclock. Sunday June 20th 1875. It rained the whole day. I helped do up the work and read and wrote a little during the day. Jim Folsom was here in the afternoon. and in the evening we had a famous old sing. All three of the boys helping us. We girls went to bed rather early. A month today since my school was out.
