Saving...
79 Wednesday 7th 1875. I did not feel well today and worked only a little in the forenoon. Aunt Sarah was here for dinner, and went to town with Mother in the afternoon. In the evening I began writing a letter to Ettie. But my shoulder hurt me so that I put it away and went to bed. Mr. Whisler's little boy was drowned last night. Thursday July 8th 1875. I finished my letter to Ettie this morning and then Hattie and I went to town. We had a real pleasant time and did some shopping. We got home about eleven oclock and I sewed till about five in the afternoon when Mother and I went over to Mrs Moores at supper We had a real pleasant time and did not get home till night. When Hatt and I were in town this morning we saw a beautiful set of furniture to be sold cheap and in the evening Mother and I went in and she bought it. I did not do much of any thing after I came home. If it is pleasant tomorrow Mother and I are going to the valley.
