80 Friday July 9th 1875. It looked a little like rain and we did not go to the valley. But Mother and I went to town We did some shopping and got things for dinner. I sewed after I came home and all the afternoon till supper. After supper Rob and I took a horse-back ride, how I did enjoy it. I dont think I ever spent a pleasanter hour. Saturday July 10th 1875. I stayed right here at home and sewed all day I got the skirt to Mothers traveling dress all done. A warm day. Mother was down town twice. Sunday July 11th 1875. As soon as we got the work done in the morning Mother and I went down to Uncle Jims. We had a good visit and came home about six oclock. Hatt wanted to take a ride as we girls put on our sun-bonnets and drove out to Stevens. We made quite a call there. It was time to do the evening work when we got home. We went to bed as soon as we got the work done. I dont think I have spent this Sunday right
