94 I got through ironing we changed our dresses and went to town. Had a real jolly time got us some new cuff buttons and Hatt got some plants. I helped with the evening work. Friday August 13th 1875. Mother and Mrs W_ went to town real early this morning and Hatt and I took care of her children and washing some calico things. They did not get home till nearly noon. Aunt Lib and her daugher were here for diner. I made me a riding skirt in the afternoon. Mrs Winter went to town visiting this afternoon As soon as I returned from my ride I helped with the evening work. Saturday August 14th 1875. I ironed this morning and then helped with the dinner. After dinner Hatt and Mrs W__ did their share of the ironing. I did the baking and helped about cleaning up the house it took nearly all day. Mother took Mrs W_ over to McCalls just before supper time. she was not gone long. I helped do up the work and went to bed early for I was very tired.
