Wednesday January 29th 1936 I spent a miserable day. so short of breath and sick to my stomach. Dr Ned here in the afternoon. A nice greeting from Louise Pratt. Rob home from Des Moines. he went yesterday morning. Thursday January 30th 1936 Such a cold day. Cora went down town by taxi in the A.M. I was in bed all day. I can breath better but can eat no solid food. Rob away all day. Friday January 31st 1936 I feel much better today. Ott spent all afternoon. Came by taxi and Dr Ned who was here late in the P.M. took him home. Cora down town all afternoon. Had a card from Grace Taylor. a letter from Martha Stitt and a paper from M. E. Culbertson. Anita Mercer sent something good. Iowa Byington Reed Died February 13th 1936.
