7 Thursday January 13th 1876. I sewed all the forenoon as hard as I could and right away after dinner I dressed to go to town. I did some shopping and then went to take my music lesson. I took "St Paul March" I called at Harts on the way home Minervia was married yesterday. I also stopped a moment to see Mrs Pinney who was so unfortunate as to get her shoulder put out of place a few days ago. Weather pleasant. Friday January 14th 1876 I sewed all the forenoon and a short time in the afternoon to finish my dress and our sacques. Mother went to town and while she was gone I cleaned the house all up and got the supper started. Mr Niell went after Hattie and they got home just at supper time. When Rob got up from the supper table he told me he felt he had too bad a cold to attempt to go to the party tonight. After I took a good cry over it I began to get ready myself Mr Chase came after me about eight oclock. We played
