Saving...
13 Tuesday January 25th 1876 It was a lovely day and I got at the washing early But still did not get it all done by noon Mother went to town right away after dinner and I finished and cleaned the house all up nice it was five oclock when I got done and Mother coming then we began to get supper. I did not do much of any thing in the evening. I was so tired. Went to bed rather early. Wednesday January 26th 1876 I worked so hard yesterday that I was hardly able to be about today I got the work done up and brought in the clothes. They were not dry but it was misting so they were getting worse all the time. Aunt Sarah was here for dinner and I sent a note to Hattie. Mary Hart was here saying they were going to have the party. I practiced a little in the afternoon and put in all the evening drying clothes around the stove geting them ready to iron. This gloomy weather seems to have affected me today, For I have felt awful blue all day. Had a letter from Anna Gilbert.
