53. Sunday March 19th 1876. I did not feel at all well today and just lounged around. I wrote a letter to Miss Lewis. Jim Folsom and Winnie were here all the afternoon. I went to bed early in the evening, it is snowing tonight. Monday March 20th 1876. We began early this morning to iron and had it nearly all done by ten oclock. In the afternoon we put out another washing. In the evening I ripped up my old white velvet waist and cut out a sleeveless jacket. I was very tired at night. Tuesday March 21st 1876. I brought in the clothes this morning and we ironed them this forenoon. I mended the things and put them away before supper, besides cutting and sewing some carpet rags We got a telegram from Charlie saying Miss Harris and he would be home tonight. About nine oclock Rob, Hatt, and I went over to the depot They came and of course we were glad to see
